Account and sign-in
My account is blocked
Updated September 14, 2026
If This account is blocked shows up when you sign in, the ShakeThere team has blocked access to the account.
Why an account is blocked
The team blocks accounts that break the terms of use, for example with spam or abuse in comments, or when there are signs that someone else is using the account. Blocking is a team decision and is recorded in the audit log.
What happens
- Nobody can sign in to the account, not even with the right password. Devices that were signed in are signed out within 5 minutes.
- Your data is kept: blocking doesn't delete recipes, playlists, tasks or history.
- Public or link-shared recipes and playlists stay as they were, unless the team needs to remove them.
Ask for a review
If you think this is a mistake, write to hello@shakethere.com with the account's email. When the team unblocks it, you sign in as usual, with the same password.
