How to use
Plan your day in Today
Updated September 14, 2026
Today is the first screen of LifeHub. It lists the open tasks due today or already overdue, using the date in the time zone of your account.
Habits
If you have active habits, they show up at the top, with a box to mark today and your streak.
What each task shows
Below the title you see the area of life, the nature, the origin (or Loose), who is responsible when it is someone else, the estimate and the due date. Overdue tasks say for how many days, in red.
At the top, next to the date, LifeHub adds up how many tasks there are and the total estimated time.
Add a task for today
Choose New task. The due date already comes filled in with today's date. See the four coordinates of a task.
The suggested order
LifeHub suggests the order of your day by adding up points from simple rules. Nothing is hidden: choose Why here? below a task to see which rules counted for it and how many points each one gave.
| Rule | Points | | --- | --- | | Overdue | 30, plus 2 per day overdue (up to 50) | | Due today | 25 | | Medium / high impact | 8 / 16 | | Low / medium effort | 8 / 4 (quick wins move up) | | Its origin works toward a key result of an active objective | 15 | | Its area had nothing done in the last 7 days while other areas did | 6 | | Depends on someone else (nature Waiting or someone else responsible) | −10 |
Tasks with more points come first. On a tie, the earlier due date wins.
Change the order
- With a mouse: drag the handle on the left of the task.
- With the keyboard, a screen reader or on a phone: use the up and down arrows on the right of each task.
The order you set is saved right away, kept on all your devices and stays above the suggestion. Tasks that arrive later go below it, in the suggested order.
To undo, choose Back to the suggested order below the list.
Complete
Tick the box next to the task. It is crossed out and leaves Today. To undo, open Tasks › Done and untick it.
Time zone
