How to use
Nutritionists on CookBook
Updated September 14, 2026
Nutritionists use CookBook to recommend recipes and playlists to their clients. Clients see each recommendation in their own CookBook, always with who recommended it.
Turn on the professional profile
- Create your CookBook profile if you don't have one yet: it's how clients see your name.
- On Profile, in the Professional profile section, fill in Professional registration (CRN), such as
CRN-3 12345. - Choose Turn on professional profile.
ShakeThere does not verify the registration: clients and your public profile show it as self-declared. To change it, edit the field and choose Save registration.
Invite clients
- On Profile, choose Clients and invite.
- Choose Create invite link and send the link, for example with Send on WhatsApp.
- Whoever opens the link and chooses Accept invite shows up in your client list.
The same link works for all clients. Generate a new link makes the previous one stop working, and Turn off link closes the invite. Existing clients stay.
For each client you only see their account name, since when they are a client and how many recommendations they received. Nothing from their recipes.
Recommend recipes and playlists
- Open one of your recipes or playlists shared by link or public.
- Choose Recommend.
- Check the clients. Those who already got it are checked; unchecking removes the recommendation.
- Optionally write a Note, like "Swap the sugar for honey". It goes to the clients you check now.
- Choose Save.
Private recipes and playlists can't be recommended. If a recommended recipe becomes private again, it disappears for clients until you share it again.
For clients
- The newest recommendations show up on Recipes, under Recommended for you. See all opens the full list.
- On the recipe or playlist page, a notice shows who recommended it and the note.
- Choose Dismiss to remove a recommendation from your list.
- To stop being a client, choose Stop being a client on Recommended or Profile. That person's recommendations disappear too.
Turn off the professional profile
On Profile, choose Turn off professional profile and confirm. Your clients stop being clients and their recommendations disappear; your recipes and playlists stay as they are.
Each nutritionist can have up to 500 clients, and each client gets up to 200 recommendations from each nutritionist.
